Erin Hughes

Erin Hughes is a seasoned public affairs and communications professional with extensive experience across various sectors. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Marathon Strategies LLC since January 2020, Erin previously held the position of Managing Director at DCI Group, where communication counsel was provided to clients in education, energy, and healthcare. Erin's experience also includes serving as Press Secretary for the NYC Department of Education, where responsibilities included acting as spokesperson for the largest school district in the country, and as Director of Media Relations at NYC Health + Hospitals. Earlier roles include Deputy Press Secretary at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Lead Advance Representative at the U.S. Department of Energy, and Press Advance Representative at The White House. Erin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Colorado State University and attended Middlesex University.
