Nicole Verdugo

Nicole Verdugo has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Nicole currently holds the position of Head of Talent Acquisition at Maravai LifeSciences since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Sr. Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist at Turing.com, where they implemented process improvements, conducted trainings, and explored business intelligence tools. Nicole also served as Associate Director of Talent Acquisition at Societal™ CDMO (formerly Recro), where they established and led the in-house talent acquisition team, improving recruitment processes and implementing new networking tools. Nicole has also held various roles at Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services, Thermo Fisher Scientific, GEICO, Boomers Family Fun Center, and The Home Depot, acquiring experience in talent acquisition, leadership, and process improvement.

Nicole Verdugo obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Chicano Studies from San Diego State University from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they studied Chicano Studies at California State University, Long Beach from 2005 to 2007. In 2020, Nicole Verdugo obtained a certification in Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging from LinkedIn.
