Marble Falls Area EMS is a non-profit corporation that was established by a group of volunteers. The service has grown to include a cohesive existence between volunteers and career employees. They provide emergency medical services to approximately 47,000 citizens. Their service area spans over 350 square miles with many miles of lake and rivershoreline which provides their service a unique call mixture of rescue or trauma and medical responses.
