Rowena Odina, CHRL, PLP has extensive work experience in the field of human resources and people management. Rowena currently holds the position of Director, People & Culture at March of Dimes Canada, where they began in March 2022. Prior to this role, Rowena served as the Senior Manager, People & Culture at United Way Greater Toronto from August 2017 to March 2022. Additionally, they worked as the Senior Manager, Human Resources at the Canadian Cancer Society from February 2017 to August 2017. Rowena's previous experience also includes working at the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, where they held various HR roles including Senior Manager, Human Resources from an unspecified date in 2011 until January 2017, Human Resources Manager from 2010 to an unspecified date in 2011, and HR Generalist from February 2007 to an unspecified date in 2010. Prior to their educational pursuits in Canada, Rowena earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from the University of the Philippines.

In addition to their formal education, Rowena has also obtained various certifications throughout their career. In 2006, they became a Certified Human Resources Leader through the Human Resources Professionals Association. The following year, they became a Certified Member of the Joint Health & Safety Committee through WSIB. In 2008, Rowena earned the title of Certified Payroll Manager from the Canadian Payroll Association. Lastly, in 2011, they achieved certification as a Predictive Index (PI) Analyst through Predictive Success.
