Monica Merrifield has extensive experience in strategic and enterprise risk management (ERM) and compliance. Monica has held positions such as Senior Director of Strategic Risk & Resilience at March of Dimes Canada, where they integrated ERM and compliance across the organization. Monica has also served as the Enterprise Risk & Compliance Leader at the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, where they built and integrated ERM capability and compliance management. Prior to that, they were the Principal Advisor at Merrifield & Associates, specializing in strategic risk and innovation. Monica has a strong background in risk assessment and policy development, having developed the first ERM program and revenue-generating service offering for the YMCA of Greater Toronto. Monica also designed and launched the organization's first Business Continuity Program (BCP) and comprehensive policy system.
