Carley Lovorn

Director, Strategic Partnerships, Education at National Geographic Society

Carley Lovorn is the Director of Strategic Partnerships, Education at the National Geographic Society since March 2018. Prior to this, Carley worked as an Advocacy Coordinator (Mississippi) at the National Peace Corps Association. Carley is also a Founding Board Member/Volunteer Coordinator at the Tree of Life Free Clinic. Carley previously served as Assistant Director at the Mississippi Geographic Alliance at the University of Mississippi. Carley has experience working as an Executive Director at El Centro, Inc, and as an Associate Writer and Researcher at May I Speak Freely Media. Carley's background includes serving as a Youth Development Volunteer at the Peace Corps. Carley holds a Master's in Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science from Vanderbilt University.
