Kathryn (Katie) Mitchell, MPH has worked in various roles in the public health sector. Kathryn (Katie) began their career in 2011 at Americares, where they guided the development of a five-year regional strategic plan for Africa-based programs and introduced new tools and guidelines for team efficiency. Kathryn (Katie) later joined the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services as an intern, where they conducted a needs assessment survey analysis and presented the results to relevant audiences. In 2014, they worked at Family Voices-New Hampshire as a Survey Analyst, managing and analyzing responses from a survey distributed to administrators and school nurses. Kathryn (Katie) then joined the National MCH Workforce Development Center as a Knowledge Management Consultant, evaluating an online course and implementing a knowledge management infrastructure. From 2016 to 2020, they worked at the March of Dimes, first as the New York Maternal and Child Health Director, where they provided project management support and advocacy for women and children health issues, and later as the National Director Maternal & Infant Health and Collective Impact, where they launched and expanded a collective impact initiative.
Kathryn (Katie) Mitchell, MPH completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Public Health at the University of Vermont from 2007 to 2011. Kathryn (Katie) then pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a specialization in Maternal and Child Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2013 to 2015.
