Katherine Simoes has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Katherine started their career as an intern at Tommy Hilfiger in 2009, gaining experience in children's wholesale. Katherine then worked as a Wax Mold and Cast at Connecticut College from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, they took on an intern role at BPCM before joining David Lerner Collection as an Associate Designer, where they worked from 2010 to 2012.
After that, Katherine worked at alice + olivia, starting as a Design/Product Development Coordinator in 2012 and then advancing to the role of Product Development Associate Manager from 2014 to 2017. Katherine eventually became a Product Development Manager, a position they held from 2017 to 2019.
Following their time at alice + olivia, Katherine joined Terez as a Product Development Manager from 2019 to 2020. Katherine then worked at Rauch Brands as a Product Manager from 2020 to 2022, managing the product development cycle and sales strategy for various accounts, including leading retailers like TJX stores, West Elm, and CVS.
Currently, Katherine is employed at Marchesa as a Product Development Manager since 2022. Additionally, they will be joining TWP Clothing in 2023, also as a Product Development Manager.
Katherine Simoes completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Fine and Studio Arts at Connecticut College from 2006 to 2010. During the same time period, they also pursued studies in Art, Sculpture, and English at the same institution and obtained a BA. In 2008, they attended the University of New South Wales, College of Fine Arts for a brief period, focusing on Fashion History.
