Igor Makeev, CFA, CAIA has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Igor is currently working as the Vice President - Credit and Risk Analyst at Marco since June 2021. Prior to that, from 2010 to April 2021, Igor worked as a Vice President - Investment Analyst at Wafra where they conducted research, due diligence, and portfolio construction initiatives across multiple asset classes. Igor also performed quantitative analysis for fund investments and designed reports for portfolio risk analysis.

Before joining Wafra, Igor worked at IFS (State Street Company) as a Risk Analyst / Performance Analyst from July 2006 to June 2010. Igor started their career as an Intern at TheMarkets.com in 2005, where they monitored entitlement utilization, maintained databases, and prepared reports for the sales team. In 2004, Igor had a summer internship at RBC Capital Markets.

Igor Makeev, CFA, CAIA, obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Baruch College between 2002 and 2006. In addition to their degree, Igor has also acquired certifications in CAIA from the CAIA Association and in CFA from the CFA Institute.
