Nadia Olker is the current Director of Venue Rentals at Marcus Center for Performing Arts. Prior to this, they held the position of Interim Director of Event & Membership Sales at Oconomowoc Lake Club and Director of Sales and Marketing at Chesapeake Hospitality. Nadia also has experience as the Director of Events - Production at Milwaukee World Festival, Inc.
Nadia has successfully executed and overseen all contract negotiations for events & group sales, as well as implemented new marketing opportunities for social events. Nadia has also surpassed first quarter Budget Forecasts by $45k. As the Director of Events - Production at Milwaukee World Festival, Nadia was in charge of successfully executing and coordinating all planning and logistics for festivals and events. This included researching, vetting, budgeting, and presenting proposals for new, large-scale Summerfest experiences such as high-tech sound and light installations, reactive video walls, huge walk-through art installations, sculpture gardens, living green-walls, Virtual Reality experiences, and drone art.
Nadia Olker's educational career began at Divine Savior Holy Angels High School, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in English Literature and Art (Studio & Design). Nadia then attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in English Literature and Art (Studio & Design).
They are on a team with John Hassig - Director of Programming, John Barnes - Director of Group Sales, and Anthony D. Smith - Director of Community Engagement & Inclusion. Nadia Olker reports to Lory Bowman, Vice President of Marketing & Communications.
