Sports Marketing Workshop at Marcus Graham Project

Marissa Holbert's work experience begins with their current role as a BDR Candidate at RE:WORK TRAINING since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at the Marcus Graham Project in 2022, where they developed and executed a successful marketing campaign for the Mavs Take Action initiative with the Dallas Mavericks. In the same year, they also founded and served as CEO of PassThaBall, a company that live-streamed sporting events and wrote engaging article recaps.

In 2011, Marissa worked at Rally Marketing as a Team Lead, promoting the 7-Eleven Slurpees brand and supervising staff in event setup and photography.

Their early work experience includes roles at Sam Houston State University, where they were involved in media relations, filming sports teams, editing game footage, and creating video packages for the website. marissa also worked as a computer technician, assisting students and faculty with computer problems and researching more efficient solutions. Additionally, Marissa served as a Resident Advisor, ensuring a safe and educational environment for residents and planning various programs.

Marissa Holbert attended Sam Houston State University from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Mass Communications. marissa also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication from the same institution. In terms of additional certifications, they have received various certifications from LinkedIn, including "Developing Business Acumen," "Interview Master Class," "Atomic Habits (Blinkist Summary)," "Getting to Yes: Advice for Female Founders on How to Get Funded," "Mastering Common Interview Questions," "Succeeding in a New Role By Managing Up," and "Managing Stress and Building Resilience While Job Hunting." These certifications were obtained between January 2023 and March 2023.
