Dr. Nancy Joumaa

Dr. Nancy Joumaa has a range of work experience in various roles and industries. Dr. Nancy started their career as a Researcher in Chemistry of Materials, Polymers, and Composites at LMOPS, CNRS, Lyon in October 2002. After that, they worked as a Researcher in the same field at CNRS - bioMerieux, Lyon from October 2003 to December 2006, where they specialized in the elaboration of nanometer magnetic and fluorescent polystyrene particles for biomedical applications. Dr. Nancy then moved into consulting, joining Deloitte - Strategy Consulting as a Manager in August 2007. Dr. Nancy worked there for seven years before transitioning to Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects in August 2014. At Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects, they served as the Head of Research and Organizational Development until February 2018. From March 2018 onwards, Dr. Joumaa has held the position of Head of Content and Organizational Effectiveness at Marefa Digital.

Dr. Nancy Joumaa has an extensive education history in the field of Materials, Polymers and Composites Science. Dr. Nancy obtained their PhD from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, where they studied from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree (DEA) in the same field at Université Savoie Mont Blanc, attending from 2002 to 2003. As for their undergraduate education, Dr. Joumaa earned a Teaching Diploma in Sciences from Lebanese University - Beirut, studying from 1998 to 2002.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Dr. Joumaa has also obtained certifications in Succession Planning and Career Development from Informa in November 2017, and Project Appraisal and Feasibility Analysis from Terrapinn Training in 2008.
