Spyridon Sourvinos

Spyridon Sourvinos has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the BI Engineering Lead at Marel since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an IT Data Specialist at Marel since August 2019. Spyridon previously held the position of Data & Analytics Specialist at EG Group from October 2017 to July 2019. Spyridon also gained experience as an intern in various roles, including Applications Intern at ASML from February 2017 to July 2017 and Process Development Intern in the Data Team at KPN from September 2016 to January 2017. Additionally, they have worked in customer service at Hellenic Telecommunications Organisation from January 2010 to July 2010 and provided secretarial support at Ntroufakou Zoi, School of Foreign Languages from March 2005 to December 2009.

Spyridon Sourvinos has a diverse education history. Spyridon obtained a Bachelor's Degree in the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon. Spyridon also attended Athens University of Economics and Business, where they studied Big Data & Business Analytics: A Practical Introduction.

Spyridon further pursued a Master's Degree in Data Science from Radboud University, and they are currently enrolled in the University of the Aegean, pursuing a Master's degree in Financial & Management Engineering.

Additionally, Spyridon has obtained several certifications, including Machine Learning Specialization, Neural Networks for Machine Learning, Basic Statistics, Inferential Statistics, Machine Learning (all from Coursera), Big Data Foundations, Data Science Foundations, Hadoop Data Access, Hadoop Foundations, Hadoop Programming, and Spark (all from IBM). Spyridon also holds a certification as an Administrator of Databases and Data Centers from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, and a Certification of Advanced English from the University of Michigan.
