Robert Ruidera

Robert Ruidera has 8 years of work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Robert began their career in 2010 as a Research Assistant at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Robert then worked as a Scientist and Senior Scientist at PPD from 2011 to 2016. In 2016, they moved to Evelo Biosciences as a Research Associate. In 2017, they joined Cue Biopharma as an Associate Scientist. In 2019, they were promoted to Principal Research Associate at Dragonfly Therapeutics, Inc. In 2021, they joined AbbVie as a Scientist II (Flow Cytometry). In their current role, they are a Full-spectral flow cytometry SME for immunoprofiling projects, and is responsible for leading the development of +30-color full-spectral flow cytometry panel design of whole PBMC and specified subsets of T cell, NK cell, B cell, monocytes, or dendritic cells, as well as developing cell barcoding strategies for sample multiplexing on Cytek Aurora. In 2022, they joined Marengo Therapeutics as a Scientist II.

Robert Ruidera began their educational journey in 2004 when they attended the Illinois Institute of Technology to study Computer Engineering and Biomedical Engineering. Robert then moved on to Oklahoma State University, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Microbial Pathogenesis & Molecular Genetics in 2009. After that, they attended Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and earned a Master's Degree in Biotechnology in 2011.
