Tahereh (Zohre) Javaheri

Tahereh (Zohre) Javaheri is a Scientist with Marengo Therapeutics since 2022. Prior to this, they were a Visiting Scientist at Boston University from 2019 to 2020, a Scientist at Gritstone bio in 2020, a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at St. Anna Children’s Cancer Research Institute from 2017 to 2019, a Postdoctoral Associate at Ludwig Boltzmann Institute Cancer Research from 2016 to 2017 and a PhD in Genetic/Cancer Research at Ludwig Boltzmann Institut for Cancer Research from 2010 to 2016. Her research at St. Anna Children’s Cancer Research Institute focused on generating a novel mouse model of Ewing sarcoma in a mixed background model, as well as establishing multiple cancer and stem cell lines from bone, liver, and lung as ex vivo tools to validate the model.

Tahereh (Zohre) Javaheri obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Experimental Genetic/ Cancer from the Technical University of Munich in 2017 (magna cum laude). Prior to that, they obtained their M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Genetic from the same university in 2010. Tahereh (Zohre) had also obtained their B.Sc. in Genetic from Bielefeld University, Germany in 2008.
