Chris B

Chris B has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a Grade 2 Teacher at Marengo Union School District 165 since June 2022. Prior to this, Chris has held various teaching roles at Cary School District 26, including Dual Language Teacher and EL Resource Teacher, since August 2018. Additional teaching experience includes a 3rd Grade Teacher position at STS from July 2013 to July 2018, a Long Term Substitute position at St. Joseph Catholic School in early 2013, and a Substitute Teacher role at CSD 158 from August 2011 to February 2013. Chris also began the teaching journey as a Student Teacher at Chesak Elementary in 2011, and worked as a Receptionist at Children and Teens Medical Center from October 2009 to March 2011. Academically, Chris holds a Master's degree in Reading from Olivet Nazarene University and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix, along with an Associate's degree in Applied Science Paralegal from Elgin Community College.
