Research Specialist for Black Play and Culture at The Strong

Aryol Prater, M.A. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They currently work as a Research Specialist for Black Play and Culture at The Strong. Prior to this, Aryol held roles such as Project Manager and Master's Student| Campus Activity Coordinator at Union Theological Seminary, Culture Consultant at Jamestown Community College, and Director Of Strategic Partnerships at Jamestown Jackals. They have also worked as a Cultural Director at LAB (Love Achieving Brotherhood), Data Collector at Children's Museum of Houston, PR Intern at Children's Museum of Houston, Teachers Assistant at Ithaca Community Child Care Center, Master of Ceremonies at Royal Engagements, and Discovery guide at Children's Museum of Houston.

Aryol Prater, M.A. began their education at Tomkins Cortland Community College in 2011, where they pursued a liberal arts program. After completing their studies there, they transferred to the State University of New York College at Potsdam in 2013. At Potsdam, Aryol earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, graduating in 2015. Following this, Aryol continued their educational journey at Columbia University in the City of New York - Union Theological Seminary. From 2018 to 2021, they obtained a Master of Arts degree in African-American/Black Studies.
