Pilar Gomez

Pilar Gomez is a seasoned professional in equity investments with a strong background in infrastructure finance across Europe and Latin America. Currently serving as Partner and Managing Director at Marguerite since April 2010, Pilar leads principal equity investments in transport, energy, and renewables within EU-28 member countries. Prior roles include Investment Director at Santander Infrastructure Capital, focusing on private equity investments and asset management, and Senior Banker at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, where Pilar specialized in project finance within the transport sector in Eastern Europe. Earlier experience as a Manager at Banesto involved origination and structuring of project finance transactions in Latin America and the Caribbean. Pilar holds an International MBA from IE Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Law from Universidad de Cantabria.
