Riccardo Biondi is an accomplished expert in atmospheric sciences and project management. Currently serving as Project Manager at CIMA Research Foundation since July 2023, Riccardo oversees projects focused on weather, climate, and climate change adaptation. As the Founder and Coordinator of the CVC Training School since April 2015, Riccardo organizes training on convective and volcanic clouds. Riccardo also chairs the MCAA Italy Chapter, facilitating events for Marie Curie fellows in Italy. Previously, Riccardo was Principal Investigator at the Università degli Studi di Padova, leading multiple H2020 funded projects. Additional experience includes roles as General Manager at ER srls, Research Fellow at Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia, and AXA Research Fund Fellow at the Italian National Research Council. Riccardo's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences from DTU and a Master's in Electronic Engineering from Università degli Studi di Perugia.
