Canada Coordinator At MCAA North-america Chapter at Marie Curie Alumni Association

Sergio Crespo-Garcia, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in Vision Science at the School of Optometry, Université de Montréal, since June 2022. Currently serving as the Canada Coordinator for the Marie Curie Alumni Association in the North America Chapter, Sergio has a rich background in biomedical sciences, holding a Doctorate from Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and a Postdoctorate in Biochemistry from Université de Montréal. Prior experience includes roles as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the Centre de recherche de l'Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont and Charité, as well as a visiting researcher at Queen's University Belfast. Sergio's educational credentials are further enhanced by a Master in Genetics and Cell Biology and a Postgraduate Certificate in Retinal Vascular Modelling, Measurement and Diagnostic, along with a Bachelor in Science, Biology.
