Associate Professor Leslie Cannold serves as the Associate Professor of Ethics and Impact and Resident Ethicist at Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership since October 2022, focusing on leadership programs that promote ethical decision-making. Leslie holds the position of Chair of the Human Research Ethics Committee at the Victorian Department of Health, overseeing ethical compliance in research projects. As Chair of the Ethics in Research Committee for Marie Stopes International, Leslie contributes to improving reproductive health services for underserved populations. Additionally, Leslie is involved with various panels and committees, including the Forensic Leave Panel and the Mental Health Tribunal, ensuring procedural fairness and ethical oversight in mental health and forensic settings. A founding faculty member at The School of Life and an experienced speaker, Leslie engages audiences on ethical topics across numerous platforms. Leslie's academic credentials include a PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Melbourne and a Master's degree in Bioethics from Monash University, along with various training in business and ethics.
