Sarah Barbour

Sarah Barbour is an experienced education professional currently serving as the Director of the Marietta Student Life Center for Marietta City Schools since November 2021. In this role, Sarah is responsible for the systemic design of community school programming and fostering partnerships with community organizations. Concurrently, Sarah has been a Continuing Education Instructor at the International Institute for Restorative Practices (IIRP) Graduate School since May 2016, focusing on professional development and restorative practices. Previously, Sarah held the position of Climate Culture Specialist at Fulton County Schools from 2015 to 2021 and served as an Intervention Coach for Wake County Public School System from 2007 to 2015. Sarah began the career as a Professional School Counselor at Frederick County Public Schools from 2002 to 2007. Sarah's educational background includes degrees from Johns Hopkins University School of Education, McDaniel College, and the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
