Francisco José García Rico

Francisco José García Rico has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies.

Francisco José began their career as a Developer at Textpattern Plugin Developer, where they developed plugins for the CMS textpattern. Francisco José then worked as a Web developer at Freelance, creating web applications for various clients.

Francisco José also served as a Senior Grails Developer at Secret Escapes and as a Senior Software Engineer at EngageSciences.

Francisco then joined the University of Alicante, initially working as a Web developer at the Language Laboratory and later becoming a Professor. During their time at the university, they developed web applications for language learning and expression categorization.

Francisco José continued their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Wayin, a Cheetah Digital Company, where they worked until 2020.

From 2020 to 2023, Francisco held various roles at Cheetah Digital, including Team Lead Senior Software Engineer and Director, Engineering.

Currently, they are the Director of Engineering at Marigold.

Francisco José García Rico attended Universitat d'Alacant from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a degree in Management Computer Technic Engineering with a specialization in Management Computer. Francisco José then pursued an Engineer's Degree in Computer Science at the same university from 2000 to 2004. In 2004, they briefly studied at Berufsakademie Ravensburg, where they also obtained an Engineer's Degree in Computer Science.
