Steve Horn

Steve Horn is a legal professional currently serving as Senior Counsel for Marigold since April 2023, where responsibilities include managing the Generative AI Policy and advising on AI technology use. Prior to Marigold, Steve held the position of Associate Corporate Counsel at Toast from August 2021 to April 2023, advising product teams throughout the product development lifecycle and negotiating contracts. Steve's earlier experience includes roles as Corporate Counsel and Associate Corporate Counsel at Deltek from January 2019 to August 2021, where work involved product development, acquisition due diligence, and contract management. Steve began the legal career with various internships and clerkships at organizations including the US Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Department of Commerce, and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Steve earned a Juris Doctor from George Mason University - Antonin Scalia Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English from the University of Vermont.
