Asta Halme

Asta Halme is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Internal Communications Manager at Marimekko since January 2015, focusing on change communication, culture building, and sustainability strategy. Previously, Asta held roles at Marimekko including Head of Communications for Global Media Relations and Internal Communications, where responsibilities included shaping corporate image and managing media relations, and as Head of Communications overseeing overall company communications. Prior experience includes various communications management roles at UPM and its predecessor companies, specializing in regulatory disclosure, external and internal communications, and change management. Asta holds a Master's degree in Organizational Communication and PR from the University of Jyväskylä and recently completed a vocational qualification in Natural and Environmental Protection.
