Michael Duryee-Browner's work experience includes serving as the Assistant Upper School Division Head at Marin Country Day School since August 2021. Prior to that, they were the Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Breakthrough San Francisco from June 2018 to August 2021. Michael also worked at San Francisco Day School as a 6th Grade History Teacher from August 2014 to June 2018, and as a 4th Grade Associate Teacher from August 2012 to August 2014. In addition, they were an Instructional Coach for Breakthrough San Francisco from 2016 to 2017. Before entering the education field, they were an Academic Intern at IES Abroad from August 2011 to June 2012.

Michael Duryee-Browner began their education at Emory University in 2007, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in History. Michael completed their undergraduate studies in 2011. Following this, Michael attended the University of San Francisco from 2014 to 2016. During this period, they earned a Master of Arts degree, specializing in Teaching. Additionally, they obtained a Single-Subject Teaching Credential in the Social Sciences.
