Brian Kinion

Brian Kinion is the current Director at Marin Software. Prior to this, they served as Special Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer at Upwork from November 2017 to October 2020. Brian has also held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Marketo from July 2013 to April 2017, where they were responsible for overseeing the worldwide management of the accounting function, external reporting, FP&A, investor relations, tax planning and compliance, financial operations, facilities and IT functions. During their time at Marketo, the company was acquired by Vista Equity Partners for $1.8B.

Brian Kinion has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Saint Mary's College of California and is currently enrolled in the Emerging CFO Program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Brian also has an MBA in General (Finance Concentration) from Saint Mary's College of California.
