Joseph Botros, MBChB (MD), MPH, CIC, HACP, serves as the Service Line Director for Ancillary Services at Marina Del Rey Hospital since July 2014, where responsibilities include overseeing Infection Prevention, Employee Health, and Disaster Planning. Botros leads multiple hospital programs, including HAI Surveillance, Immunization, and epidemic response initiatives. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Infection Control & Education at Marina Del Rey Hospital and Manager of Infection Control at Silver Lake Medical Center, where Joseph collaborated on the Infection Control Program. Early career experience involved coordinating Infection Control activities at Los Angeles Community Hospital and Norwalk Community Hospital through Southern California Infection Control Services. Botros holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from West Coast University and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Alexandria University.
