Daniel Franzén Lindefors

Daniel Franz is a Wissenschaftlicher Referent at Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V. since February 2023, specializing in digitalized and efficient manufacturing technologies within aviation research programs. Previously, Daniel conducted a master's thesis at Miele, focusing on the implementation, analysis, and evaluation of an innovative sliding ring seal for dishwashers, earning a grade of 1.0. In addition, a bachelor's thesis was completed at Volkswagen AG, evaluating polymer materials for magnetic fixation in rotors, resulting in a grade of 1.1. Prior experiences include project coordination in electric drive development at Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln, tutoring in technical mechanics, and a basic technical internship at Shell Deutschland Oil GmbH. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cologne University of Applied Sciences and dual Bachelor of Engineering degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln and California State University, Long Beach.
