Cecilia Blengini

Research Facilitator at Marine Biological Laboratory

Cecilia Blengini is a Research Assistant Professor at Rutgers University since October 2016, focusing on the molecular mechanisms for producing healthy oocytes and investigating the roles of Aurora kinases in female meiosis. Concurrently, Cecilia serves as a Research Facilitator at the Marine Biological Laboratory, facilitating oocyte collection and ICSI lab activities for the Frontiers in Reproduction course. Cecilia completed a PhD in Evolutionary Biology at the National University of Córdoba, where research included examining sperm evolution in wild lizards.
