Heather Elliott

Heather Elliott is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research facilitation and administrative support within academic and health care environments. Currently serving as a Research Facilitator and Administrative Assistant at Dalhousie University since June 2018, Heather provides support to key academic leaders in the Faculty of Computer Science. As a self-employed consultant since 2014, Heather has collaborated with various organizations, including Dalhousie researchers and the United Way Halifax, on research and administrative projects. Previous roles include administrative support for the pediatric rheumatology team at IWK Health Centre and positions as a research associate at Dalhousie University, contributing to medical education initiatives and health research. With a Master of Environmental Studies focused on Sustainability in Higher Education, alongside dual undergraduate degrees in psychology and biology, Heather combines a strong educational background with a diverse skill set in research, program development, and community engagement.
