Karen Echeverri

Karen Echeverri is an accomplished scientific professional with extensive experience in biological research. Currently serving as an Associate Scientist at the Marine Biological Laboratory since October 2018, Echeverri previously held the position of Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota from January 2012 to October 2018. Prior to this, Echeverri worked as an Independent Research Associate at the Center for Regenerative Therapies from January 2006 to December 2011, and as a Postdoc at the Max Planck Institute for Cell Biology and Genetics from 2004 to 2006. Echeverri's academic background includes a BSc Hons in Biochemistry from University College Galway and a Ph.D. in Zoology from Trinity College Dublin, supplemented by additional education from the Max Planck Society.
