Marine Conservation Team

The Marine Conservation Team at Marine Conservation Institute is dedicated to identifying, researching, and implementing strategies to protect vulnerable ocean ecosystems globally. They conduct detailed biogeographical and conservation analyses, develop and manage the Marine Protection Atlas, and engage with local communities, including the Sea Women of Melanesia, to foster marine conservation efforts. The team also supports the Blue Parks program, which aims to recognize and promote well-managed marine protected areas.
