Sarah de Malplaquet has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Sarah started their career as an Audit Trainee at RSM Tenon and worked their way up to Audit Senior and eventually Film Unit Consultant, specializing in British Film Certificate audits and the Film Tax Credit system. Sarah then took on the role of Financial Controller (Maternity Cover) at BAFTA, where they managed the finance department and was a member of the Senior Management Team. Sarah subsequently engaged in independent travel and voluntary work, demonstrating self-confidence, adaptability, and organizational skills. Sarah then worked as a Supply Teacher at Warwickshire County Council before joining Whitemoor Accountants as an Accounting Manager. Sarah later transitioned to Whitemoor Accountants Ltd as a Senior Manager. Sarah served as the Head of Finance at The Charleston Trust and is currently working as the Head of Finance at the Marine Conservation Society. Additionally, Sarah has extensive experience as the Chief Executive and Trustee of the Kit Tarka Foundation, where they focused on preventing newborn baby deaths through research and education.

Sarah de Malplaquet completed their Bachelor of Science degree (BSc) in Mathematics from the University of York between 1999 and 2002. In 2012 and 2013, they pursued a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with a specialization in Primary with Mathematics at the University of Warwick. Sarah also holds an Additional Certification in ACA from ICAEW, however, the month and year of obtaining the certification are not provided.
