Laura Kellermann has a diverse work experience starting in 2007 as an intern at the Office of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton. Laura later worked as a Legislative Correspondent for US House of Representatives - Rep. Connie Mack (FL-14) from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, they joined the U.S. Chamber of Commerce as a Coordinator (Scheduling & Events) and worked there until 2014. Finally, Laura joined the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation in 2014 as an Assistant Director of Scholar Engagement, a role they currently hold.
Laura Kellermann earned their Bachelor's degree from San Diego State University from 2006 to 2010. Laura'sdegree was in Journalism and Media Studies, with a minor in History.

Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation
The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation is the Nation's oldest and largest provider of need-based scholarships to military children. The Scholarship Foundation provides funding for post-high school education to all qualified children of Marines and Navy Corpsmen in need. Scholarship recipients are children of honorably discharged, retired, and active-duty Marines, and particular attention is given to those whose parent has been wounded or killed in action. Since its inception in 1962, the Scholarship Foundation has awarded more than 50,000 scholarships, worth upwards of $185,000,000, to the children of Marines and Navy Corpsmen. In the current academic year, the Scholarship Foundation awarded $10,000,000 to 2,600 children of Marines and Navy Corpsmen.
