Steven Pesanka

Steven Pesanka, LCSW, currently serves as the Assistant Director of the Education Program at Marine Corps Community Services since September 2020 and also functions as a Personal & Professional Development Advisor. Prior experience includes roles as a Behavioral Health Specialist at the Hawaii State Department of Education, Rural Health Community Coordinator/VHIE Coordinator at HMS TECHNOLOGIES, INC., and Primary Therapist at Satori Recovery Center. Previous clinical roles include working as a clinician at Sovereign Health Group and an intern at UCLA's Staff and Faculty Counseling Center. Steven also gained experience as a School Social Worker intern with Vista Unified School District and held management positions at FedEx Office and Pacific Marine Credit Union. Educational credentials include a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California, a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development from California State University San Marcos, and an Associate of Arts from Palomar College.
