Ray Toll serves as a Board Member for both the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center and OXBOW LAKE ASSOCIATION INC, and has been actively involved with the Marine Technology Society since 2005, currently as OCEANS 2022 Co-Chair. With a long-standing membership in the American Meteorological Society since 1978, Ray also held various leadership roles, including Hampton Roads Section Chair and President of the society, which boasts 1,100 members from 35 countries. Ray's extensive experience includes positions such as Director of Coastal Resilience Research and Senior Project Scientist at Old Dominion University, and NDBC Regional Coordinator at both Computer Sciences Corporation and SAIC. Educational background includes a Master’s degree in Meteorology and Oceanography from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Utah.
