Michael Fischer

Michael Fischer has extensive experience in software engineering, product development, research, and engineering roles across various industries. Currently serving as Director of Software Engineering at MarineLabs since November 2018, Michael manages a software team in the marine IoT space. Additionally, Michael runs a software & product development consulting firm and has previous experience in project management, business development, and scientific programming. With a background in engineering and computer science, Michael has worked on a variety of projects ranging from energy systems research to adaptive optics instrumentation for large telescopes.
