John Fleming

John Fleming has extensive experience in the finance industry. John is currently a Partner and Director of Research of the Mariner GreyArc Team at Mariner Investment Group, LLC since July 2021. Prior to that, they were the Director of Research at GreyArc Global Investors from October 2018 to June 2021. John also co-founded and managed Aligned Wealth Capital, a firm focused on building quantitative models in finance from 2011 to 2021.

Earlier in their career, John Fleming was a part of an investment group at ION Financial that purchased failed banks after the 2008 Financial Crisis. John also held positions at Point Cap, Morgan Stanley/Stadia Capital, Centurion Investment Group, Atalanta Sossnoff Capital Corp, and Fidelity Investments, gaining experience in portfolio management, equity analysis, and fixed income research.

John Fleming's education history begins at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Finance in 1989. After that, they attended the NYU Stern School of Business and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance/International Business in 1995.
