Chris Tognini

Chief Of Biomedical Engineering at MarinHealth

Chris Tognini has over 20 years of experience in the field of biomedical engineering. Chris started in 1992 as a Bio-Medical Engineer at Kinetic Concepts Inc., where they were responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment assets for multiple locations. Chris was able to significantly reduce non-patient ready equipment and decrease inventory expenditure.

In 1994, Tognini became the Director of Bio-Medical Services at Bimeco Inc., where they set up and oversaw the biomedical program for a new division. Chris established policies and procedures, performed preventative maintenance and repairs, and managed equipment and disposable inventories.

From 1996 to 1997, Tognini worked as a Bio-Medical Field Service Engineer at Mediq-PRN, and from 1997 to 1998, they served as the Site Manager of the Clinical Engineering Department at Children's Medical Center of Akron, maintaining the department as an OEM for the medical center.

Tognini then joined American Medical Express, Inc. in 1998 as a Bio-Medical Engineer, where they set up and operated a Bio-Medical facility. Chris'sresponsibilities included maintenance and repair of assets, computer-operated inventory control, and customer billing for on-demand repair services.

In 2000, Tognini became a Senior Bio-Medical Engineer at NorthBay Health. Chris managed the Bio-Medical program, performed preventative maintenance and repairs on hospital assets, and provided ancillary support, including inventory control, risk management, contract negotiations, and equipment safety committees.

Tognini's most recent role was as the Chief of Biomedical Engineering at MarinHealth Medical Center, starting in 2001.

Chris Tognini attended Chagrin Falls High School from 1976 to 1979. There is no specific degree or field of study mentioned for this period. Later, from 1988 to 1991, they studied Computer Science Biomedical Major at Keiser University-Ft Lauderdale.
