Stephen Allison

Stephen Allison has a diverse work experience in the field of psychiatry. Stephen started their career in 2004 as a Research Coordinator at UCSF Memory and Aging Center. In 2010, they joined UCSF Medical Center as a Resident Physician in Psychiatry and later became the Psychiatry Chief Resident.

In 2014, Stephen worked as a Psychiatrist at Alameda Health System and had a private practice as well. Stephen continued to expand their experience by joining MarinHealth Medical Center in 2015, where they held multiple roles such as Psychiatrist, Vice Chair of Psychiatry, and eventually became the Medical Director of Inpatient Psychiatry.

Additionally, Stephen co-founded Marin Psychiatric Group, Inc. in 2016. Stephen also volunteered as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at UCSF Medical Center.

Stephen Allison earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Earth Systems and Biological Sciences from Stanford University from 1996 to 2000. Subsequently, they attended the University of California, San Francisco - School of Medicine, where they obtained their MD degree between 2006 and 2010.
