Jason Good

Jason Good has extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management. Jason is currently working as the Head of Procurement at Marinus Link, where they lead the procurement process for a high voltage direct current project. Prior to this, they served as the Procurement Lead Project Marinus at TasNetworks.

Jason has also worked at Federal Group, starting as the Group Procurement Manager and later becoming the Group Manager Business Services. In these roles, they successfully trained and managed a team of professionals, achieving significant savings and elevating the role of Group Procurement within the company.

Before Federal Group, Jason worked at Norske Skog where they held multiple positions including Procurement Manager, Supply Team Leader, Logistics Manager, and Human Resources Advisor. In these roles, they gained extensive experience in managing procurement operations, inventory management, logistics, and safety management.

Jason Good has a diverse education history. In 1988-1990, they completed a Bachelor of Arts in Geography with a double major in Human and Physical Geography from the University of Tasmania. In 1991, they obtained a Graduate Diploma (Honours) in Environmental Studies, focusing on Environmental Impacts from the same university. In 2004, they attended Chifley Business School for a Certificate in Contract Management, specializing in Contract Law and Management in Australia. In 2006, they participated in the Global Procurement Conference at Norske Skog, exploring Procurement Best Practice. In 2007-2012, they pursued a Master's degree in MCIPS from CIPS Australia, studying all aspects of professional procurement. In 2011, they attended a Low Cost Country Sourcing Workshop at PMMS Consulting to enhance their understanding of sourcing from low-cost countries.
