Lisa Lejuwaan

Lisa Lejuwaan has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and medical industry. Lisa is currently the Sr. VP, Business Unit Lead, Rare Genetic Epilepsy Franchise at Marinus Pharma, a position they have held since August 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Sales at Marinus Pharma from April 2021 to August 2023.

Before joining Marinus Pharma, Lisa worked at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. for several years. Lisa'sroles at Alexion Pharmaceuticals include Executive Director Sales, Neurology from May 2019 to April 2021, Regional Business Director, Neurology from February 2017 to May 2019, and Regional Account Manager from May 2014 to March 2017.

Lisa also worked at Galena Biopharma as a Territory Business Manager from August 2013 to May 2014. Lisa started their career at Genzyme Biosurgery, where they held various positions including Surgical Device Training Manager/Market Development Manager from June 2012 to August 2013, Biosurgical Sales Specialist from January 2010 to June 2012, and Clinical Science Associate from January 2000 to January 2010.

Prior to Genzyme Biosurgery, Lisa worked at Sankyo Parke Davis as a Clinical Diabetes Specialist from March 1997 to June 1998. Lisa also gained experience as a Medical Representative at Abbott Laboratories from August 1995 to March 1997 and as a Key Accounts Manager at Mark-Clark Medical Supplies from November 1994 to August 1995.

Lisa's early career includes roles at Astra USA, Inc. as a District Sales Representative/Hospital Sales Specialist from March 1992 to August 1994, and at the American Red Cross as an Assistant Director, Blood Services from June 1991 to February 1992.

Lisa Lejuwaan earned a BA degree in Political Science, German, and International Economics from Kansas State University, where they were a member of Phi Beta Kappa from 1986 to 1991. In 1988 to 1989, they also studied German language, Mass Media, and Journalism at Justus Liebig University Giessen. Additionally, Lisa obtained certifications in Fair and Effective Interviewing for Diversity and Inclusion from LinkedIn in 2022 and Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging from LinkedIn in 2021.
