Mitesh Patel

Mitesh Patel, Ph D has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Mitesh has held various roles at different companies, contributing their expertise in drug formulation and process development.

Their most recent position was as an Associate Director- Sterile Product Development CMC at Marinus Pharma, starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Alvogen as a Senior Manager External R&D and Technical Services from 2019 to 2023. In this role, they provided scientific leadership in drug product formulation and process development activities.

Before joining Alvogen, Mitesh worked as a Sr. Formulation Scientist- Product Development at Odin Pharmaceutical Llc from 2018 to 2019. Mitesh was responsible for designing and optimizing complex long-acting injectable drug product formulations.

Mitesh Patel has a diverse educational background in the field of pharmacy. Mitesh obtained a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) from M.N. College of Pharmacy in 2001. Mitesh further pursued a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) at Maliba Pharmacy College from 2003 to 2006. In 2008, they completed their Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) at the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, specializing in Drug Delivery Technology. Mitesh Patel then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery Technology from 2009 to 2012 at the same institution.
