Sarah S.

Sarah S. has a diverse work experience spanning from 2000 to the present. Sarah started their career as a Receiving Clerk at Muncie Public Library and worked there until 2004. In 2004, they joined Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital as a Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Coordinator and later took on the role of Guest Relations Supervisor. Sarah also served as a Project Manager - Transformation Deployment Leader, where they led process improvement events and projects using LEAN techniques.

In 2015, Sarah joined the Indiana State Department of Health as a Performance Improvement Manager, responsible for updating and aligning metrics for the department's strategic plan. Sarah later became the Director of the Office of Public Health Performance Management, overseeing the agency's strategic plan and quality improvement initiatives.

Sarah then moved to Parkview Health in 2016 as the Director of PPG Operations Deployment, where they focused on operations and deployment strategies.

Currently, Sarah works at Marion Health. Sarah has held various roles, including Interim Risk Manager, Corporate Compliance Officer, Privacy Officer, and Protective Services. In their current role as Interim Administrative Director of Public Relations and Marketing, they are responsible for managing the medical malpractice claims, incident reporting, insurance management, corporate compliance, and privacy breaches. Sarah also oversees the Chief of Police and the Manager of Patient Experience. Additionally, Sarah has experience in patient experience management and organizational culture development.

Sarah S. completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Healthcare Management from Indiana Wesleyan University from 2012 to 2014. Their high school education was at Wes-Del High School, where they graduated with an Academic Honors Diploma in 2000. In addition to their formal education, Sarah S. has obtained various certifications including Certified in Health Care Compliance (CHC) from the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) in September 2020, Lean Silver Certification from The University of Iowa in June 2014, Lean Bronze Certification from The University of Iowa in March 2014, and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from Purdue University in August 2010.
