Vasco Ferraz

Vasco Ferraz started their career in 2009 as a Manufacturing and Quality Engineer at Tec IT, where they led the production team and created bill of materials for each program. Vasco then worked as a Trainer at OpenSpace, where they created a guidebook and taught subjects related to operating systems and computer components. In 2009, they also joined Euromatel - Imefy Group as a Technical and Sales Engineer, analyzing client project documentation and designing solutions accordingly. Vasco worked in this role for 10 years. In 2020, Vasco became a Hardware Engineer at keezag, where they elaborated and documented a macro vision of an IoT project, selected suppliers and negotiated equipment, and configured and tested hardware and cellular connectivity. Currently, they are working as a Data Engineer at Marionete, developing software solutions using various technologies such as Java, Scala, Python, Bash Script, and working with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and Kibana.

Vasco Ferraz's education history begins in 1999 when they enrolled at Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto. Vasco pursued a Master's degree in Electrical and Computers Engineering and completed their studies in 2008.

In 2008, Vasco attended OpenSpace - Formação e Soluções Empresariais, Lda., where they received training in "Training for Trainers."

More recently, in 2021, Vasco attended Academia de Código and obtained the title of Code Cadet. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Computer Science 101 from the same institution.

Apart from their formal education, Vasco possesses additional certifications. In 2009, they obtained the CCP - Certificado de Competências Pedagógicas from IEFP. In 2020, they received the Scrum for Teams certification from Radtac. Finally, in 2021, they became a Confluent Certified Developer for Apache Kafka after completing a certification program offered by Confluent.
