Emily Saland

Emily Saland is the VP, Strategic Initiatives & Chief of Staff at Marist College. Emily has also worked as an adjunct professor for Writing II (Advanced Composition) and Writing Center Tutor at Marist College English Department and as a book scouting associate at Linda Clark Associates. Prior to that, they were the pro bono political asylum administrative coordinator and legal assistant at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher, and Flom, LLP.

Emily Saland has a BA in English and Classics from Cornell University and an MFA in Poetry from George Mason University.

They work with Katherine Santoiemmo - Executive Assistant, Geoffrey L. Brackett - Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer, and Haseeb Arroon - Director of Institutional Data, Research & Planning. Their manager is Kevin C. Weinman, President.
