Golam Kabir

Golam Kabir is a seasoned maritime professional with extensive experience in various roles within the shipping industry. Currently serving as a Surveyor at MARiTECH COMMERCIAL, Inc. since September 2020, Golam has previously held significant positions such as Chief Mate and Master Mariner at North Star Shipping Ltd. from October 2006 to September 2020, and 2nd Mate at HRC Shipping Ltd. from August 1998 to September 2001. Educational qualifications include a Chief Mate Unlimited degree from Plymouth Maritime College (2013), an Officer Of the Watch degree from Lowestoft College (2004), and a graduation in Navigation from Marine Fisheries Academy in Bangladesh (1994). Early education was completed at Savar College and Savar Adhar Chandra High School.
