Mei Chan

Mei Chan is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various roles within the legal sector. Currently serving as Legal Practice Lead at Maritime New Zealand since November 2009, Mei has also held positions such as Legal Executive and interim PA to the General Manager Legal and Policy. Prior roles include executive support at Wellington City Council, assistant positions at Ernst & Young and Norton Rose Fulbright, and legal assistance at PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal. Mei's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Screen Production from The University of Auckland and a Legal Executive Certificate from The Open Polytechnic of New Zealand, complemented by a Bachelor of Music in Musicology and Ethnomusicology from The University of Auckland.
