Alvin Hwang

Alvin Hwang is an accomplished architect and designer with extensive experience in various aspects of architectural design and project management. Since February 2022, Alvin has served as the Founder and Designer at Architecture And Design. Concurrently, Alvin has worked as an Architectural Designer at Mark Horton Architecture since June 2019, focusing on single-family residential projects from concept to construction. In the role of Design Team Manager at Eano Home Renovation, Alvin has designed accessory dwelling units (ADUs) and residential remodels while assisting clients with permit applications. Previous positions include Junior Designer roles at Stanley Saitowitz | Natoma Architects Inc. and Paulett Taggart Architects, where Alvin contributed to multiple housing projects. Alvin's early career also includes consultancy and instruction as a Graduate Student Instructor at UC Berkeley. Academically, Alvin holds a Master of Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts in Diplomacy from National Chengchi University.
